Mr. Steffens, the Company’s Chairman joined our Company in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed President and CEO in 1999. He served in this role until 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, including service from 1993 to 1998 as Chief Financial Officer of Sho-Me Financial Corp (Mount Vernon, Missouri), prior to the sale of that company to Union Planters Corporation. Mr. Steffens also served from 1989 to 1993 as an examiner with the Office of Thrift Supervision. Mr. Steffens holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri.
