Lora Daves, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
Ms. Daves, the Company’s Chief Risk Officer, joined our Company in 2006. Ms. Daves is responsible for the oversight of the Company’s internal audit, loan review, BSA, CRA, and compliance functions. Ms. Daves served as our Chief Credit Officer from 2006 through 2016. Ms. Daves has over 31 years of banking and finance experience, including 11 years beginning with Mercantile Bank of Poplar Bluff, which merged with and into US Bank, a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp (Minneapolis, Minnesota) during her tenure there. Ms. Daves’ responsibilities with US Bank included credit analysis, underwriting, credit presentation, credit approval, monitoring credit quality, and analysis of the allowance for loan losses. She advanced to hold responsibility for regional credit administration, loan review, compliance, and problem credit management. Ms. Daves’ experience also includes four years as Chief Financial Officer of a southeast Missouri healthcare provider which operated a critical access hospital, eight rural health clinics, two retail pharmacies, an ambulatory surgery center, and provided outpatient radiology and physical therapy services; and four years with a national real estate development and management firm, working in their St. Louis-based Midwest regional office as a general accounting manager. Ms. Daves holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
